On March 21st, NHU was honored to be included in the list of the 100 Leading Zhejiang Private Enterprises in Social Responsibility in 2023, released by the Zhejiang Federation of Industry and Commerce.
This honor signifies NHU's dedication and endeavors towards fulfilling its social responsibilities. NHU actively upholds the principle of "Generating Wealth, Elevating Employees, and Benefiting Society", viewing ESG as pivotal for its sustainable growth and fostering mutually beneficial relationships with users and stakeholders. Embracing the ethos of eco-friendly development, NHU relies on its "Bio+" technology platform and the concept of "integration" to strive for carbon emission reduction, efficient resource utilization, and the promotion of a circular economy. Through the seamless integration of chemical products and biotechnology, NHU endeavors to safeguard the environment through scientific advancements. With risk management at its core, and responsibility and care as guiding principles, NHU prioritizes safety leadership and cultivates a safety-oriented culture. We comprehensively implement a Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) management system, emphasizing process safety, automation control, equipment, and facility safety measures. We continue to enhance HSE management to safeguard the health and well-being of our employees, customers, and stakeholders.
NHU has remained steadfast to its original mission all along, actively engaging in social welfare initiatives, advancing rural revitalization efforts, offering voluntary activities, supporting regional medical infrastructure development, and contributing to educational foundations at prestigious institutions such as Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University, Tianjin University, and others. According to reports, the evaluation for the Leading Zhejiang Private Enterprises in Social Responsibilities is primarily based on research data on private enterprise social responsibility, organized by All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. This assessment considers various quantitative indicators, such as tax contributions, employment rates, and involvement in charitable activities, among others, across 9 aspects. Qualitative assessment involves 45 indicators across 8 dimensions, including shareholder involvement, employee welfare, ecological sustainability, and responsible governance. An evaluation team is responsible for assessing these criteria, resulting in the selection of the top 100 leading enterprises in social responsibility for the year 2023 in Zhejiang province.
From July 12 to 19, the 53rd IUPAC General Assembly & the 50th World Chemistry Congress took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, under the theme “Chemistry for a Sustainable Future”. Mr. Li Haoran, Honorary Dean of the NHU Research Institute, Ms. Yu Lili, Assistant Dean and Deputy Director of the Product R&D Department, and Mr. He Qiyang, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Cooperation Department, joined over 3,000 chemists from around the world to explore the vital role of chemical science in addressing global sustainability challenges.

From July 25 to 26, 2025, the Group's Mid-Year Meeting and Strategic Planning Seminar were successfully held in Xianghu, Hangzhou. More than 40 executives from the Group and its subsidiaries, along with key functional leaders, came together to outline the blueprint for the 15th Five-Year Plan.
